Inviting Family and Friends to School Events
School events are about bringing families together and celebrating students.
With Circool, you may be able to invite trusted adult family members and friends to attend school events with you. Guests can use their own Circool event pass or check in with an ID, depending on your school’s event setup.
When to use this
Use this article if your school invited you to an event through Circool and you want to add adult family members or friends to attend with you.
Note: Guest invitation options may depend on your school’s event settings. Some events may only allow invited parents or guardians to attend.
Important to know
- Family members and friends are invited by you, not directly by the school.
- You can arrive together, or you can share a link so your guest can access their own Circool event pass.
- If you add a guest to the event, the school may also be able to look them up by name when they arrive.
Good to know: Children and siblings usually do not need their own event ticket. Circool guest invitations are mainly for adult guests.
Before you invite guests
Before you can invite a family member or friend to an event, they may need to be added to My Circool.
See Adding Family and Friends to My Circool if you need help adding someone first.
Invite family and friends to a school event
- Log in to Circool.

Share the event with your guest
After you add a guest to the event, you will see a Share button.
The Share button lets you send a prewritten text or email to your family member or friend. This can help them access their own Circool event pass before they arrive.
Good to know: Sharing the link is helpful, but it may not be required. Once you add the guest to the event, they are added to the guest list. If needed, the school can look them up by name when they arrive.
How your guest can check in
Depending on your school’s setup, your guest may be able to check in by:
- Showing their Circool event pass or Circool QR code.
- Showing a photo ID.
- Being looked up by name from the event guest list.
Your school may also print a badge or use Circool to confirm the guest is checked in for the event.
What if I do not see the invite option?
If you do not see + Invite Family & Friends, it may mean your school has not enabled guest invitations for that event.
Some events are limited to parents, guardians, or specific invited groups. Your school can confirm who is allowed to attend.
What happens next
Once your family members or friends are added to the event, they are included on the event guest list.
They can attend with you, use the link you shared, or check in with an ID if your school allows it.
That’s it. Add your trusted guests, share the event if needed, and enjoy the school event together.
Helpful tips
- 1 Add guests early: Adding family and friends before the event can make check-in smoother.
- 2 Share the link when helpful: A shared Circool link can help guests access their own event pass.
- 3 Ask guests to bring ID: Your school may ask to see a photo ID during check-in.
- 4 Guest options may vary: Each school may use Circool a little differently for events.
- 5 Follow school instructions: Your school’s event rules and entry instructions always come first.
