Using Your Circool Pass for a School Event

When to use this

Use this article if your school invited you to a school event through Circool or asked you to use your Circool Pass for event check-in.

How to RSVP to the event

Your school may send your event invitation by email, text message, or directly inside Circool.

Option 1: Check your email

1. Look for a new event email from Circool.  The subject line may look like “Bayside Middle Invites You to...”
2. Click the Open Circool button to go directly to the event details.

Option 2: Check your text messages

1. You may receive a text message that says your school invited you to a new event.
2. Tap the link in the text message to open the event in Circool.

Option 3: Log in to Circool directly

1. Open Circool from your phone.
2. Find the event under Events.
3. Tap the event to see the full details.

Choose your RSVP

After you open the event, choose the RSVP option that best matches your plans.

• Yes: You are attending. .
• No: You are not attending.
• Maybe: You are undecided and can update your RSVP later.

Use Circool to enter a school event

When you arrive at the school event;

1. Open Circool on your phone.
2. Show your Circool Pass to the school staff.
3. Follow any event instructions from your school.

Your school may also print a badge or use Circool to confirm that you are checked in for the event.

Invite family and friends to an event

Some schools may allow you to invite family members or friends to attend a school event with you.

If this option is available, you may be able to add guests from the event page in Circool.

1. Look for Add Family/friend.
2. Select from your list of contacts or Enter the requested guest information.
3. Follow the instructions shown on the screen.

What to do if you do not see your event

If you do not see your event in Circool, try these steps:

• Check the email or text message where your school sent the event invitation.
• Make sure you are opening Circool with the email address or phone number your school has on file.
• Search your email for Circool or the event name.
• Ask your school if the event was sent to parents, guardians, or a specific group.
• Contact Circool support if you need help opening your event link.

Why your school uses Circool for events

School events can get busy. It created the perfect opportunity for an unwanted guest to blend in with the crowd and gain access to the school.  Circool helps prevent that, while keep the entrance easy and efficient for parents and guests.

What happens next

After you RSVP, follow any instructions from your school about arrival time, parking, entry location, or guest check-in.

When you arrive, have your Circool Pass or event ticket ready so school staff can scan your QR code if needed.
