Adding Family and Friends to My Circool

When to use this

Use this article if you want to add trusted family members or friends to My Circool so they are easier to invite to school events or include in Circool when needed.

What is My Circool?

My Circool is your personal circle of trusted family members and friends inside Circool.

Depending on how your school uses Circool, people in My Circool may be easier to invite to school events, include in reunification situations, or use when your school needs to know who is connected to your family.

Important to know

• Family and friends do not automatically receive Circool accounts when you add them.
• You control who you add to My Circool.
• You decide when to invite family or friends to school events, if your school allows guest invitations.
• Guest invitations and event access may depend on your school’s event settings.

Who you may see automatically

Circool connects with your school’s student records. By default, your account may show:

• Your children connected to your account.
• Other approved parents or guardians already linked in the school’s records.
• Student contacts your school has marked for emergency or pickup, if your school shares those contacts with Circool.

How to view My Circool

1. Log in to Circool.
2. In the bottom menu, tap My Circool.
3. Review the children, guardians, family members, or friends connected to your account.

Add family and friends to My Circool

You may be able to add family members or friends in two ways:

• Select from student contacts your school already has on file.
• Create a new family or friend record manually.

Option 1: Add from student contacts

Use this option if your school already has the person listed as a student contact.

1. Tap + Add Member.
2. Tap Select from Student Contacts.
3. Review the contacts your school currently has listed.
4. Tap Add next to the person you want to include in My Circool.

Option 2: Add someone manually

Use this option if the person is not listed as a student contact, but you want to add them to My Circool.

1. Tap + Add Member.
2. Tap Create Manually.
3. Complete the information shown on the screen.
4. Tap Add Member.

What happens next

Once someone is added to My Circool, you may be able to invite them to school events or include them in other Circool features, depending on your school’s settings.

If they are invited to an event, they may receive their own Circool event pass or check-in option for that event.

• 2 Check school pickup rules: Your school manages who is officially approved to pick up your child.
• 3 Event options may vary: Some schools allow family and friend invitations for certain events, while others may not.
• 4 Keep your circle current: Remove or update people in My Circool when your trusted contact list changes.
