Updating Your Circool Profile
Your Circool Profile helps your school confirm who you are and how to contact you.
You can update your profile photo, phone number, email address, text message settings, and security options from your Circool account.
When to use this
Use this article if you need to update your Circool profile information or manage how you receive Circool messages.
Open your profile
Most profile updates start in the same place.
- Log in to Circool.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Tap Access Profile.
Tip: After making changes, always tap Save Changes before leaving the page.
Update your profile picture
Your profile picture helps school staff confirm they are checking in the right person.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Tap Access Profile.
- Tap your current profile picture.
- Allow camera access if your phone asks.
- Take a new selfie.
- Tap Save Changes.
Update your phone number
Your mobile phone number may be used to help you access Circool and receive important school-related Circool messages.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Tap Access Profile.
- Go to Contact Information.
- Review, update, or remove your mobile phone number.
- If asked, verify your phone number using the text message code sent to your phone.
- Tap Save Changes.
Good to know: Your school may also keep your phone number in its student records. If your number is wrong at the school, contact your school office to update it there too.
Update your email address
Your email address may be used to help you access Circool and receive school-related Circool messages.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Tap Access Profile.
- Go to Contact Information.
- Review, update, or remove your email address.
- Tap Save Changes.
Tip: Use the same email address your school has on file whenever possible. This helps Circool connect you to the right students.
Sign up for text notifications
Circool text notifications can help you receive school event links, quick access links, and other helpful Circool updates from your school.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Tap Access Profile.
- Go to your mobile phone settings under Contact Information.
- Turn on SMS Notifications.
- Verify your mobile phone number if asked.
- Tap Save Changes.
Privacy note: Circool does not sell your information. Ever.
Set up a passkey
A passkey is a secure way to sign in using your phone’s built-in security, such as Face ID, fingerprint, or your device passcode.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Tap Security.
- Scroll to the Passkeys section.
- Tap Add Passkey.
- Follow the prompts on your phone.
- Tap Save Changes, if shown.
Good to know: Passkeys are optional. They are designed to make signing in easier and more secure on your personal device.
Change your password
If your Circool account uses a password, you can change it from your security settings.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Tap Security.
- Scroll to the Password section.
- Tap Change Password.
- Enter your current password and your new password.
- Tap Save Password.
- Tap Save Changes, if shown.
What happens next
After you save your changes, Circool will use your updated profile information going forward.
Your updated profile photo, phone number, email address, and notification settings can help your school confirm your identity and contact you when needed.
