Can I Use My ID Instead of My Circool Pass?

Yes, your school may allow you to use your photo ID if you do not have your Circool Pass ready.

Your Circool Pass is usually the fastest way to check in, but a photo ID can help the front office confirm who you are.

When to use this

Use this article if you are visiting a school and do not have access to your Circool Pass or Circool QR code.

What to expect

If you do not have your Circool Pass ready, the front office may ask to scan or review your photo ID.

This helps the school confirm your identity and continue the check-in process.

Which option is faster?

Your Circool Pass is usually faster because it is already connected to your Circool profile.

Using your ID may take a little longer, especially if the school needs to confirm your information or complete additional steps.

Tip: Add Circool to your phone’s home screen so your Circool Pass is easy to find when you arrive.

What happens next

Once your identity is confirmed, the front office will continue the school’s normal visitor check-in process.

Your school may also print a visitor badge for you to wear while you are in the building.

Helpful tips

  • 1 Bring your ID: Your school may still ask to see a photo ID.
  • 2 Use your Circool Pass when you can: It is usually the fastest way to check in.
  • 3 Follow school instructions: Each school may handle visitor check-in a little differently.
